XPR launches Biometric fingerprint reader BIO'X
BIO'X is XPR's solution to the Biometric Fingerprint
Access Control market. The BIO'X reader detects automatically the presence of a
finger on its sensor and instantaneously compares the fingerprint against
existing fingerprint templates stored in its database
To provide an added security BIO'X can operate
together with PIN codes and Proximity cards. Typically the BIO'X can be
deployed and managed through a network when combined with XPR's O2LA access
control system
By keeping False Acceptance Rate (FAR) and False
Rejection Rate to a minimal, the BIO'X delivers accuracy.
Also it addresses higher security concerns because it
authenticates via dual operation modes - So-called One-to-many Identification
(1:N) and One-to-one Verification (1:1) modes

DSS is a company created by
COMAX solely to promote XPR products in
Denmark with a option to sell to other Scandivanian countries.

New Kits for the O2LA launched...
In an effort to make procurement, transportation
and installation easier for our partners, we've released our flagship product
the O2LA in kit form. We
have 3 kits, which are described below:

O2LA Kit: The basic stand-alone
kit for 2 doors, this consists of the O2LA controller, the PS2 power supply
unit, 2 proximity readers, the necessary wiring and cards plus keychains as the
access devices.

O2LA Pro Kit: With everything the
basic kit has, this kit also comes with the O2LA Pro Access Management
Software, which enables a customer to manage his security setup from a
computer, which interfaces with the O2LA via a RS232 port.

EW Extension kit: In case a
customer needs access control for additional doors, the O2LA can easily be
augmented and it's capabilities expanded with an EW expansion kit, which
supports 2 additional doors. One O2LA controller can be chained and expanded to
support upto 64 doors with these add-on kits.
