O2LA Technical Specifications
We made the O2LA System Future-proof, keeping your changing
requirements in mind. The 16-bit system microcontroller with Flash
memory will accept newer versions of programs, keeping your
system fully up-to-date. The system controls two doors
in standalone mode and networks up to 64-door over a
1 Km distance via the RS-485 bus.
The system can manage up to 1000 users sufficient for
most applications. It supports universally available 26-bit
Wiegand readers.System programming can be directly from the keypad
or through a Computer connected to the RS-232 interface or remotely
through a modem.
The computer can retrieve data or display events in real-time. The AXESS range includes: O2LA, PS2, EW, PRO software

Features of the PS2
Super stabilized power
The PS2 is XPR's Switched Mode Power Supply unit specially designed for XPR's Axess range of products. This portable unit with advanced design characteristics provides stable, regulated and precise output power (12V DC) to operate, EM locks or strikes, in addition to the O2LA Controller and/or Extension units. It has a built in charger circuit and an option to house a battery for backup in case of power failure. In addition, PS2 has built-in automatic protection against battery over-charging, over-voltage/under-voltage protection and surge protection.

EW Extension kit: In case a customer needs access control for additional doors, the O2LA can easily be augmented and it's capabilities expanded with an EW expansion kit. Each EW unit supports two additional doors. One O2LA controller can be networked and expanded to support up to 64 doors with these add-on kits.

Networking
The RS-232 is popular bus extensively used in computer communications. Using a standard 9-pin D-type connector, which plugs into most personal computers, it is a fast and easy method of data transfer over distances of under 15 m or 50 feet.
The O2LA can be easily networked to a PC or can be remotely programmed with a Modem 'HAYES' compatible, 56K, through the
RS-232 interface.
RS-485 is a widely used, international standard for multi-point/nodes data communication. It enables up to 32 nodes to be connected through a simple twisted-pair cable of length 1 Km.
The RS-485 facility in the O2LA enables control of up to 64 doors (2 x 32) via single 2-wire cable in half-duplex communication mode.
Microsoft® WindowsTM based software
has three functions - easy & user-friendly programming, real-time
monitoring and reporting. Using normal Windows techniques
(dialog boxes, drop-down menus, etc.) programming has been
made so user-friendly that even novices can program the O2LA
system in a few minutes.
The PRO enables rapid set up of holiday schedules, time zones with 3 periods, user groups, reader groups, enable and define Anti-Passback for avoiding misuse, etc. It facilitates continuous monitoring of entry and exit of users by security personnel. It stores raw data in a database and generates reports.
Note: 1.5 meter length of RS-232 cable is included into the PRO kit.
