Standalone Master Units with CODIX Bus

This range caters to a wide choice of applications such as control of door units, barriers, gates, lighting, alarm systems, etc. The ENTRIX range offers Master units with a varied choice of housings, colours and keys to suit all décors. The standalone/networkable, reliable and cost-effective ENTRIX range of products allows the user to choose the identification technologies like keypad, proximity, RF, etc. Basically, all Master units are networkable with keypad/proximity readers from our MULTIX range, using the "CODIX" proprietary protocol.

The "CODIX" Protocol

XPR's proprietary "CODIX" bus is a unique communication protocol that is ahead of industry standard protocols like WIEGAND and CLOCK & DATA used for access control systems. The "CODIX" bus is a bi-directional 3-wire communication offering the following advantages.

• Ease of installation as it has only three wires, which is less than the above mentioned industry standard protocols.
• "CODIX" expands system capability, as it is bi-directional bus unlike the industry standards.
• It allows more distance between the master and slave units (100 meters) as compared to other protocols.

The ENTRIX range comprises of the following products: EX5, EX5-P, EX7, VI200, VI200-R, KPR9, INOX99, VKP99, MONO and DUO .

Two-door controllers (12/24V AC/DC)

EX5: Standalone and robust backlit keypad controller in metallic housing for surface or flush mounting. EX5 offers 99 user memory, 2 relays (1x10A, 1x2A) and 2 Pushbuttons. It can be networked to peripherals for easy two-door control.	EX5-P: Standalone and elegant keypad controller with built-in proximity reader designed to operate both indoors and outdoors. For controlling two doors, slaves (keypads/proximity readers) can be networked to the EX5-P via the bi-directional 3-wire proprietary CODIX data bus. Elegant and sleek design makes it suitable for variety of applications.
VI200: Programmable control unit offers an increased security level over standard keypads as it is installed in a secure area whilst peripherals being installed in unsafe areas. VI200 offers 99-user memory, 2 relays (2x10A) and 2 Pushbuttons. As an option VI200-R is offered with integrated radio receiver technology.	EX7 : Standalone/networkable keypad controller with backlit keys for night visibility, 4 relay outputs (4x2A) and 2 Pushbuttons is the best choice for access control and home automation. With 99-user memory, EX7 is available in surface or flush mounting models. EX7 is availaible in different colors and is also interchangeable making it suitable for a wide variety of decor and home applications. This standalone controller can also function without the help of connected readers.
Single door controllers
KPR9: KPR9 is a programming control unit with 7-segment display. With user memory of 9, it works with readers that are connected via the CODIX bus. KPR9 in a modern housing operates on 12V AC/DC and has 1 relay output and 1 Pushbutton. Mandatory connection with at least one reader.	INOX99: Elegant, mullion-mounted, vandal-resistant standalone keypad controller in zinc alloy housing can function without the help of connected readers also. Potted keypad with backlit metallic keys includes photoelectric sensors for automatic backlighting, 99-user memory, 12/24V DC power supply, 2 outputs, 1 exit button and tamper output. This sleek and elegant model can be used in a wide variety of applications and suitable for any decor.
VKP99: Vandal-proof standalone keypad controller that is made of Zinc alloy housing. With 99 user memory, 2 outputs, 12/24V AC/DC power supply and 1 Pushbutton, it can be networked to readers via the CODIX bus.	MONO: Standalone/networkable keypad controller in ABS housing for single door control and home automation. Rich in features, MONO includes magnetic door contact, 200-user memory, 12V AC/DC power supply, 3 outputs and 1 Pushbutton. Users can be programmed in both the modes - pin and proximity. Door contact modes can also be detected.
DUO : Standalone/networkable keypad controller with integrated proximity reader for increased user flexibility via the choice of codes, cards or tags. DUO in an ABS housing for single door control has user memory of 600 (code/tag) or 300 (code + tag), magnetic door contact, 12V AC/DC power supply, 3 outputs and 1 Pushbutton.

The MULTIX range readers of different identification technologies can be networked via the CODIX bus to the ENTRIX range of products i.e. VKP, Vprox, MONO-S, MINIm, INOX and LCS.
